Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate:
- Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior.
- Is a member in good standing at a local, evangelical church that has a Statement of Faith compatible with the school’s Statement of Faith
- Possesses a sincere, active Biblical worldview in politics, economics, education, and social issues
Holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher - Will walk in whole-hearted agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy and method of education.
- Is committed to developing both intellectual excellence and Christian character in students
- Holds fluency in phonics-based reading (teaching exclusively in the classroom) and cursive penmanship
- Approaches their own career with humility, curiosity, flexibility, and a readiness to grow
- Is willing to complete the three-level Principle Approach® Master Teacher Certification through FACE (Foundation for American Christian Education) and complete the Nehemiah Institute PEERS worldview assessment
